TradeSmart Strategy LLC was established by Geoff Wright to push the frontier of trade policy in order to enhance individual economic well-being across the world. As Adam Smith recognized in the 1760s, by exporting those goods and services they produce most efficiently all countries will gain from trade. Mr. Wright has designed policy and legislation establishing special economic zones in Asia and the Middle East – liberal trade and investment policy in these zones can expand employment and reduce regulatory barriers throughout the host country. He has developed trade development strategies for Saudi Arabia and other countries highlighting emerging sectors and market opportunities. He has also designed efficient income tax and consumption tax regimes in place today in Africa that generate significant revenue.
